A car that is running away is seen moving along the tracks. Along the rails are five passengers who can’t get around. You are next to a lever. The trolley will change tracks when you pull the lever. In the meantime, you will see that there’s someone in the other track.
The scenario unfolds with five deaths. If you pull the lever and only one person can be killed.
How will you respond?
